Yop & Tom: Hi Saanvi, congratulations on being picked for our Creator fo the Month. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Saanvi, and I’m from California. I am currently in highschool, and some of my hobbies are bullet journaling, art, baking, dancing, and skateboarding!
Y&T: We absolutely love some of the doodles you have posted about, they are so creative. Can you tell us a little about your journaling style and doodles?
I love to use my bullet journal to stay on top of my priorities throughout the day. To help me stay motivated, doodles in my bullet journal are a great way to add my own personalized touch! I love to create small drawings in places where I can based on a specific theme that I chose for the month and incorporate those into different journal spreads I make throughout. They can be minimalistic themes or even extremely sophisticated drawings that take up the whole page. The possibilities are truly endless!

Y&T: Thanks! Can you explain a little bit about why you enjoy journaling?
I think bullet journaling is a great way for me to stay organized, but also get those creative juices flowing! With the stress I have from school, I find it hard to get time to draw or create some type of art often, and bullet journaling allows me to have some creativity and relaxation in my work-filled days.
It has also motivated me especially with online school and this whole pandemic situation, as it is something that I look forward to and keeps me going. Additionally, it is so beneficial for me for planning my days, weeks, and months since I like to write everything I have to get done to keep it in manageable chunks.

Y&T: We love your spreads, what are some of your favourites to create?
There are so many different ways to create spreads for your months! You can create monthly spreads to see the upcoming month at a glance, weekly spreads that could be in the structured or rolling form, and other creative ways to plan out your weeks. Many bullet journal creators and myself included on instagram like to make other fun kinds of spreads like a monthly playlist of our favorite songs we found that month, or creative habit trackers as well!
Y&T: Thanks so much and congratulations again!
We love this beautiful playlist spread
